Anytime we get a lead on a wedding in Mendocino we are overcome with excitement. Northern California had been our home for the majority of our lives and anytime we have a reason to go back, especially to Mendocino, we are thrilled.
Brittany and Nick’s wedding took place at the Heritage House. A beautiful resort with views of the coast. The ceremony overlooked an ocean cove lush with coastal vegetation and the reception was held in the resort.

We arrived early on the day of the wedding to make sure we had enough time to fly the drone. While we watched the live feed from the drone we instantly knew this was going to be a good day. The views were stunning. Brittany and Nick had chosen a wonderful place for a wedding. Once we got our establishing shots checked off the list we realized we still had a good chunk of time before we had to be set up for the ceremony. The venue was quite large and gave us a lot of space to explore. It was great, we went on a small scale adventure around the property and filmed everything from plants to interesting wildlife like the large Heron we encountered.
Once it was time to film the ceremony everything went just as planned. We were both in a great mood after starting our day off right and had a blast capturing the joy of the couple and their friends and family. We can’t wait for the next Mendocino wedding that comes our way or the next wedding destination that tops the views of the California Coast.
